⚡️When Lightning Strikes
Good morning, Kodiak Crossing! It’s Callie, joining you on KWAC with today’s thought. On my morning walk, I came across a tree that had been struck by lightning. There it stood, charred yet unbowed, a powerful symbol not of defeat, but of enduring strength.
This tree, despite being scarred by nature’s fury, still reaches for the sky, rooted firmly in the earth. It’s a vivid reminder that in life, we too face our own storms, our own lightning strikes. We've all been there – knocked down, altered in an instant. Yet, like the tree, we have the capacity to stand tall once more, to reclaim our place in the sun.
Our challenges, much like lightning, test our mettle. In those moments, we are faced with a decision: to succumb or to stand strong. And it's in standing up, in embracing our resilience, that we transform our trials into triumphs.
The scars left by life’s trials are not signs of our weakness, but testimonials of our strength, our capacity to face adversity head-on and emerge stronger.
As we move through this day, let’s draw inspiration from the resilience of nature. Let’s be reminded of our own strength and ability to weather life’s storms.
As we ponder this tale of resilience, here's "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor, an anthem of strength and determination. Let it be our rallying cry, Kodiak Crossing, as we face whatever challenges come our way.
